Heeello there cuties! It’s been a really long time since I wrote my last post. I know and I’m sorry. I wish I could be more active but things have changed unexpectedly for the better that’s for sure. For those of you that follow me on social media (Instagram / Facebook) you already know what’s up. If you’re a newbie and you just clicked on my blog by mistake or maybe because it caught your attention let me fill you in. A few months ago I found out I was pregnant. Well, I’m still veeery pregnant and almost ready to pop. This whole unplanned pregnancy thing changed my life completely and I couldn’t be more thankful for this experience.

A woman’s body is truly amazing I mean it undergoes many transformations during the nine months of pregnancy. It’s unbelievable and exciting, but also scary. The nausea, vomiting, cramping, swollen ankles, pressure, heartburn, backaches, shortness of breath, stretch marks, weight gaining, having to pee literally every 10 minutes and let’s not forget about the hormones all over the place. In return you’ll feel the little kicks, the pregnancy glow because I mean God bless the prenatal pills my hair and nails have been growing so much never looked any better. Loading up my plate because I’m eating for two. The cravings because it is important to listen to what your body wants right? Taking naps. Lots of them. Getting to hear your baby’s heartbeat, shopping for a little human you haven’t met yet but already love so much. It’s all worth it, and the best is yet to come.

Ok wait, I think I got carried away didn’t I? Let’s stick to the topic.
Since my due date is around the corner I need to be prepared and have my hospital bag ready to go. Here’s a list of what I believe to be must-haves and some nice-to-haves because why not?
Essentials to pack in the hospital bag:
Nursing bras
Slippers and socks
Maxi pads
Makeup (I’d like to keep it simple and natural because between the sweat and tears I don’t want to look like a clown)
Comfortable underwear
Pajamas
Phone charger and camera because WE WANT PICTURES!
Outfits for baby (soft hat, socks, baby mittens and swaddling blankets)
The basics (toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner, soap, lotion, hair ties, face wash, hairbrush, deodorant and lip balm)
And this is really important for all new moms out there don’t forget to wash the baby clothes using an special baby detergent. Do I have everything I need? Let me know what you guys think and if I’ve missed anything in the comments section below. Xx, ♥️ Happy blogging & lots of love.
