Trip To The Museum Of Ice Cream In Miami

Guess who’s back?! Let me tell you that with sooo much going on this couple of months I’ve had absolutely no time for blogging. I’m sorry for being mia loves. But let’s catch up, shall we?

I recently moved into a new apartment and this is such a big responsability. I’m glad everything is on its place now and there’s just some things that I still need to buy but hey, little by little I’ve been able to survive so I’m just gonna keep doing what I’m doing and it’s gonna be ok, right? So for today I’ll be sharing my experience on the MOIC (Museum Of Ice Cream), the “instagram sensation” that everyone has been talking about. Don’t believe me? Look up the hashtag #MOIC to find out.

The Miami Beach location is a 4 hour drive from where I live but one of the reasons why I decided to go was because I had my own personal driver = my boyfriend. We both were supeeer excited because this is the fourth location in the United States. The first opened in New York City in the summer of 2016 and was shortly followed by outposts in Los Angeles and San Francisco.

General Info

Location: 3400 Collins Ave, Miami Beach FL 33140

General admission: $38.00 each

MOIC was expected to close April 29 but it got extended till May 13.

Tour Time There are 4 levels of MOIC.

Sprinkle Pool

Tick tock, tick tock the clock is ticking so hurry up and take your pictures because this room is timed. This pool filled of plastic sprinkles is a dream come true and YES, you can jump in it.

Bunns Shake Room

Let the free ice cream sample begin! This room is a “homage to a beloved dining institution and a throwback to 1950s Americana.”

Balloons Courtyard

Floating balloons! Yes, that’s right. You’ll see pretty walls and a circus drum stand at the center.

FAN-tastic

This is an ice cream-themed dance studio with fans fashioned as pink ice cream cones.

Safari

Welcome to the most popular room in this museum. The cherry swing, the banana swing and the tiny coconut room are part of this pink jungle.

Sand Room

It’s time to play with pink sand. Yes, you heard it right. It’s PINK and you can create whatever you want. I absolutely loooved this room because not everyday you get to act like a little kid with your hands covered in pink sand having free ice cream at the same time.

Sculpture Room

This room is filled with standing figures where the colorful blocks can be taken out and put back into place. The perfect opportunity to build your masterpiece.

Pop Room

Last but not least you’ll find a cascade of pink, red, blue and yellow popsicles. If this isn’t one of the most instagrammable things from this museum then I don’t know what is. I won’t say it’s time to take pictures because that’s what we’ve been doing since we arrived.

And that’s the end of our little tour. Don’t forget to share ALL your pics using the hashtags #MOIC #museumoficecream and to tag them. Let me know what you think about this “ice cream heaven” place in the comments section below.

Xx, ♥️ Happy blogging & lots of love
