What To Pack For A Trip To Cuba: Ultimate Travel Packing Checklist
Hey there lovebugs!
You guys voted for this topic on one of my instagram polls and I couldn’t be more excited to be writing about it despite the craziness that have surrounded me the last couple weeks cause yes, I’m still trying to buy furniture while keeping my apartment organized plus now with this trip coming up there’s so many things to do: buy presents for the family, decide what to wear and pack the right stuff (true fact), make sure to pay the bills before I go and I’m not even kidding.
What's my packing process like?
I like to put my outfits together and wear them for a few minutes to see how they look, and also to take pictures in my phone so I won't forget. I think this is pretty useful because if there's something you don't like you'll still have time to change it while you're at home.
This has happened to me a few times where I keep choosing the wrong accessories (bag, hat, jewelry) and this tip has worked so far.
For starters you’re coming to an island in the Caribbean and you need to prepare yourself for an enjoyable time under a “tropical climate”, and by this I mean it’s going to be hot to the point you’re going to feel like melting like an ice-pop. Even during Winter season it isn’t cold, it feels like a nice fresh weather and maybe you can see yourself wearing a light jacket. Maybe, just maybe.
But let's start getting ready for this trip, shall we?
It's "choose your luggage" time. Make sure is lightweight and big enough to hold your essentials, or in my case "big enough to hold pretty much my entire closet".
Starting with some basics you'll definitely need to pack a toothbrush, toothpaste, hair brush, deodorant, perfume, shampoo and conditioner, underwear, swimwear, socks, makeup, jewelry, sunscreen, shaving kit, feminine hygiene products, phone charger, headphones, camera, etc.
And get ready to show some skin because you’ll be wearing shorts and skirts all the time. Tank tops, t-shirts and dresses go with the weather too and it never hurts to be prepared so bring going-out outfits. You can also pack some long sleeve shirts to protect you from the sun, because I bet you don’t wanna look like burnt french fries. Last but not least let's not forget about the sunglasses and a hat.
Do you have any trips coming up soon? If so, what's your travel packing checklist?
